Bodhisattva aux mille mains
Cette performance fut effectuée lors du Festival du printemps CCTV par 21 jeunes garçons et filles ayant un problème de surdité. Ce fut un grand succès. À la fin, chacun a tout de suite ouvert son téléphone cellulaire à messagerie texte pour y retrouver les félicitations de parents et amis qui venaient de les voir en direct à la télé.

Thousand-hand Bodhisattva
The performance of Thousand-hand Bodhisattva dance performed by 21 hearing impaired girls and boys at the 2005 CCTV Spring Festival Gala caused a nationwide sensation.
The entire audience was thrilled by the synchronized movements dancers, who performed with exquisite grace and precision, even though they couldn't hear the music.
They all turned on their mobile phones immediately after leaving the stage with almost as much uniformity as they performed their spectacular dance. Chen Cen was among them.
