If you think about it, using a towel after a shower is quite the hassle. After just a bit of use, it typically has to be re-washed and dried.
That’s where a new product called the ‘Body Dryer’ comes in. Basically the device resembles and operates like a bathroom scale. Users step right out of the shower and onto the invention, which then wicks the moisture off an entire human body.
The team behind the ‘Body Dryer’ has taken to Indiegogo to advertise and raise funds for their project. One of the team members, Tyler Overk commented ‘The body dryer team came together to really tackle the problem of bacteria growing on towels. We realized that there are so many germs, so many bacteria that we're reusing and putting back onto our bodies after we've cleaned ourselves from showers or even coming out of the pool.’
The dryer actually doubles as a scale and owners can use it to check their weight. The team is looking to raise $50,000 to put their product into production.
If that goal is met and the ‘Body Dryers’ are made publicly available, they will sell for about $250 apiece.
