Many Netizens are expressing their outrage after a single mother was recently arrested for leaving her young children unattended in a car, while she left for a job interview.

The Phoenix woman, named Shanesha Taylor, was taken into custody following the interview on March 20th after a witness saw one of the children crying and contacted police.

Authorities did in fact find a 2-year-old boy and 6-month-old baby inside the vehicle. The keys had been left in the ignition and the windows were cracked open.

Taylor told cops she wasn’t able to get a babysitter on the day of her interview. Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark stated ‘She was upset. This is a sad situation all around. She said she was homeless. She needed the job. Obviously, not getting the job. So it's just a sad situation’.

Taylor has been released from jail on a 9 thousand dollar bond which was posted by a local church, but she is still facing charges of two counts of child abuse and is due back in court in May.

A New Jersey woman, Amanda Bishop, has launched a fundraising page to help Taylor and her family during this difficult time. Support continues to pour in on the site. A monetary goal was set for $9,000 and the donations have far surpassed that amount, hitting over 95 thousand dollars and climbing.
