Part 3 - notorious roads of Cameron Highlands

After fulfilling mee goreng lunch at Gua Musang we headed straight to Cameron Highlands. Afternoon weather equally, roads mostly free of traffic . The higher we climbed the tighter roads were getting, for biker enthusiasts that was the best part. Small towns along the route were pretty congested, that slowed us down. Near Tana Ratah we made a break for fresh strawberries and a milk shake. Then came the most challenging part of the ride, due to narrow roads ever overtaking had some risk in it. Luckily we made safe. Reached KL expressway around 6:30pm just to find a horrendous traffic jam reach out to 140km. All lanes including side lane for motorbikes were occupied by cars. Getting to KL tested our skills and nerves. Almost ran out of petrol but saved by GPS. Reached hotel at 10pm and headed for cold beers at Bavarian restaurant. What a day, stunning road, great weather and the wind of freedom. We want to do it again soon!
