Boston woman's toe bitten off during wild New Year's Eve party

A woman had her pinky toe bitten off during a fight at a New Year's Eve party in Dorchester, Boston.
Police received a call from a Boston hospital at about 5 a.m. Wednesday, reporting an assault.
The victim was attending a so-called friend's party when a fight broke out at according to Boston police.
The altercation kicked off after the victim approached a female guest at the party and asked if she would like to "hook up."
The girl's boyfriend was reportedly not too happy about this and proceeded to grab the girl around the neck, and pull her hair back.
The woman then tried to tell the host what had happened, but the friend did not believe the story and said that she had ruined the party.
According to the victim, the host then began assaulting her, beating her until guests pulled them apart.
She then fled the house, but the host followed her and attacked her again. They fell to the ground where the victim said the host then bit off her left pinky toe.
Another friend drove the victim to the hospital before reporting the incident to the police, who are now investigating the incident.
Moral of the story. Always toe the line and never bite off more than you can chew by trying to pick up someone else's girlfriend - especially in Boston."
