Remembering Kurt Cobain

2014-04-04 42

It's hard to believe, that April 5th marks the 20th anniversary of the death of "Nirvana" frontman Kurt Cobain.

The grunge rock hero died in Seattle in 1994 at the age of 27 of a self-inflicted gunshot to the back of the head.

Recently, a cold case investigator discovered several rolls of undeveloped film from the scene, but Seattle police say the discovery will not alter the case.

Cobain rose to fame as the lead singer and songwriter of Nirvana, arguably the defining band of the grunge era that dominated rock music, and much of popular culture, for several years in the 1990s.
