We have already reported that model-turned-actress Chitrangada Singh will appear in a sizzling item number in Suriya's upcoming film 'Anjaan'. Now our sources in Chennai have informed that the makers of Anjaan have paid a whopping amount of 1 crore to Chitrangada Singh for just an item number. Chitrangada has got a good following in Bollywood but everyone is wondering why the makers have paid her a huge amount, which she won't be getting in Bollywood as well. Samantha is the leading lady opposite to Suriya and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the is action entertainer. National Award winning cinematographer Santosh Sivan will be handling the lens while N Linguswamy is the director. Subash Chandra Bose and Ronnie Screwvala are jointly producing Anjaan under Thirrupathi Brothers and UTV Motion Pictures banners.
Action hero Vishal who debuted with Pandem Kodi is getting into the romantic mould with every new film of his. Though his career was sluggish for quite some time, it is picking up once again. It is said that he will be seen in a romantic avatar in his latest film Indrudu. According to sources from the set, a sizzling lip-lock scene has been shot between Vishal and Lakshmi Menon in the film. But it is being said that the scene may not make it to the final cut. Apparently, the Censor Board refused to give a clean U certificate due to the kiss. In Tamil Nadu, U certificate films get 30% tax waiver. So the unit is now calculating if the inclusion of the scene will help them recover this 30%. For now, they have decided not to take any risks and are planning to leak the kiss scene on YouTube to increase the craze among fans. Already, Vishal's friend has released a shot of the kiss scene on Twitter. Well, looks like the makers are into some smart promotional moves with minimum spending.
In film industry it is common experience of celebrities showing anger and later showering love. Same thing happened in case of Lakshmi Rai. She was selected as second heroine in Atharva, Priya Anand's Kollywood entertainer Irumbu Kuthirai. However even after 60% of the completion of film shooting, she did not receive any call from the filmmakers.
Lakshmi Rai turned furious blasted filmmakers and gave statement immediately that she is walking out of the project. However after couple of days she was seen in the sets of Irumbu Kuthirai making many wonder how hot Lakshmi Rai turned cool!
