Recently, the pair took their escapades off the stage and onto the streets of New York City. The duo just wrapped up their Broadway show ‘Waiting for Godot’.
Just prior to closing night, Stewart posted pictures of himself and his buddy on social media as a countdown to the finale and to show Netizens how they are spending their final days in the Big Apple.
Highlights of the tourist-like pictures include them standing next to a replica Statue of Liberty, taking a cruise on the Wonder Wheel, having conversations, presumably with each other, in adjacent phone booths and walking hand in hand on Coney Island’s boardwalk.
A few other gems involve the buddies standing near the backside of a bull statue and posing next to a life-size cutout of Kate Middleton.
In the final photo chronicling their New York City adventures, McKellen and Stewart’s faces can’t be seen, but their shadows can, depicting them standing next to one another with their hats off to symbolize the last showing of ‘Waiting for Godot' was done.
