An M79 grenade was fired at a house next to the Democrat Party headquarters in the Phaya Thai district of Bangkok on Monday (February 24) night.
According to the Bangkok Post, the attacker reportedly fired the grenade using an M79 grenade launcher from the nearby local road. The grenade was targeted at the Democrat compound but missed. It hit a house adjacent to the compound and damaged two cars parked on the premises. No one was injured.
In January, some unknown gunmen fired eight 9mm rounds at the Democrat Party HQ at 2:30 am. The compound's coffee house was damaged by the shots. However, no one was injured in the attack.
