It was recently reported that Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan will be launching the Hindi trailler of the Kollywood film, 'Kochadaiiyan', which stars the legendary Rajnikanth. Just a few days ago Shahrukh Khan flew to Chennai, to launch the Tamil trailer of the film.
'Kochadaiiyan' is directed by Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya. She will be making her directorial debut with 'Kochadaiiyan'. The film is the first of it's kind in India, using 3D motion captur technology. It is set to release world wide on April 11, 2014.
We had recently reported that Arya and Amala Paul will be making a cameo appearance in Partheipan's Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam, in which they will be seen playing a couple. In fact, the two actors shot for their sequences recently. Disclosing details of her character in the film, she says she plays an eccentric woman, who has extreme mood swings, and Arya, who has 'special powers', plays her husband.
Amala even wore a veshti and shirt, dressed like a man. In the film, Arya is someone who has an illusion disorder of sorts.
If the latest buzz in K-town is to believed, Vikram might team up with Boopathy Pandiyan for a new movie soon. Boopathy Pandian who has directed Dhanush's 'Thiruvilayadal Arrambam' and Vishal's 'Malaikottai' has recently narrated a script to NTR and the latter seems to have given green signal immediately.
The film was expected to start after the release of AI directed by Shankar, in which the National award winning actor stars in the lead role. Sources add that Trisha is in the race to bag the heroine role. It is to be remembered that Vikram was supposed to work with Boopathi Pandiyan in a film titled Raja Vesham. However the film was dropped before commencing.
