Hundreds of African migrants have tried to scale the fences between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla.
Around 800 people tried to climb the barbed wire fences several times on Friday, but most were turned back by security forces from both sides.
Others hung onto the fence for hours, before police convinced them to come down.
Many of the migrants come from Cameroon and other Sub-Saharan African countries, seeking work and a better life in Europe.
Al Jazeera's Simon McGregor-Wood reports.
