Pressure mounts on Sri Lanka for international inqury

The pressure is building on the Sri Lankan Government to hold an independent investigation into the final stages of its war with Tamil Tiger rebels. On Wednesday, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights will deliver her report on the issue at the UN Human Rights Council session in Genva. They will also be debating a US-led resolution that would force Sri Lanka's hand. Meanwhile, in Sri Lanka, the horrors of those final days of conflict are still being discovered.
