STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama arrived at the European Council on Wednesday to hold his first summit talks in Brussels with EU leaders.

Obama will have just 75 minutes over lunch with the European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso to tackle issues ranging from energy to climate change, in a meeting that will be dominated by the Ukraine crisis.

Obama, who arrived in Belgium on Tuesday evening after nuclear security talks in The Hague, will stay in the EU capital for less than 24 hours before heading for Italy, and continuing on with his six-day European tour.
