Taapsee who was so busy until a year ago doesn't have many projects on hand now. Her career in South film industry has come to a standstill. In Telugu she has only one film Ganga. Taapsee is looking for a break desperately and in this process the actress is taking up experiments.
Taapsee will play the villain in Dhanush's upcoming film. Taapsee's first film in Tamil was Aadukalam, in which she romanced Dhanush. This should be considered a brave decision from the struggling actress.

Rajinikanth and KS Ravikumar's project is busy in the post-production stages. While the superstar is getting ready for the release of his forthcoming movie Kochadaiiyaan, which is likely to hit the screens on April 11, the director is preparing for the launch of the film. Sources say that Anushka Shetty has been approached by the KS Ravikumar's team. The talks are on and the actress is very excited about the offer. The Arundhati girl is keen on taking up the project but the only hurdle that she could face is of date issues. The Deiva Thirumagal actress has to join the shoots from June if she accept the multilingual film. Anushka Shetty is currently busy with two projects: Rudramadevi and Baahubali. In the mean time, she has also given nod to act in Ajith Kumar's upcoming flick with Gautham Menon. Coming back to Rajinikanth and KS Ravikumar's film, we hear that Kannada superstar Sudeep is being considered for the powerful villain role in the film. The director is yet to finalise his technical team.
