Michelle Obama discusses missing plane in China

U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama delivered a speech at Peking University in Beijing and sat down for talks with students from China and U.S. on Saturday (March 22), on the second day of a visit to China aimed at promoting education and cultural exchanges between the world's two giants.

Mrs. Obama spoke at the Stanford Centre at Peking University and expressed her concerns about passengers aboard the missing Malaysia Airlines jetliner.

"I just want to say a very few brief words about Malaysia Airlines flight 370. As my husband has said United States has offering as many resources as possible to assist in the search. And please know that we are keeping all of the families and loved ones of those on this flight in our thoughts and in our prayers at this very difficult time," she said.

The First Lady also commented on the importance of educational exchanges for relationship between the world's two biggest countries.

In a trip to
