Bollywood bombshell Chitrangada Singh is all set to make her grand entry into South with Suriya starrer Anjaan. Samantha is the heroine opposite to Suriya in this action entertainer and director N.Linguswamy has roped in Chitrangada for a hot item number. Chitrangada appeared in over half-a-dozen Bollywood movies and the actress is famous for hot and sexy roles in her films. Another B-Town babe Maryam Zakaria will also be seen in an item number in this film. Popular and national award winning cinematographer Santosh Sivan is handling the lens while Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music. Keeping the Telugu market of Samantha and Suriya in mind, makers of this film have planned to go for a simultaneously release in both Tamil and Telugu languages.
Its a known fact that Samantha is suffering from a mysterious disease and she earlier said that she suffered from an allergy. Earlier Samantha took a long break during the filming of Seethamma Vaakitlo due to this mysterious illness, and now another rumor has surfaced about her break. This gorgeous lady has taken a break and has flown to London for some treatment. Well lets wait and see if she comes back with another bad job of plastic surgery. Its rumored that she's gone under the knife to get some enhancements done. Though she doesn't speak about it its clear by the way she appears on the celluloid.
NTR's upcoming film Rabhasa has been facing many hurdles. This film's shoot was halted for few days after Ramayya Vastavayya. NTR asked for certain changes in the script with Ramayya biting dust at the box office. Shooting commenced after suggested changes were made and when the film's work is going on at brisk pace, it has come to sudden halt with director Santosh Srinivas falling ill. Director Santosh Srinivas is bedridden for many weeks due to severe jaundice. Rabhasa team is waiting for the director to recover. It will take few more weeks for him to fully recover and therefore NTR has put Rabhasa on hold for a while. NTR allotted dates to Puri Jagannadh's film that will be produced by BVSN Prasad. He will start working on this film from April. Rabhasa may hit the sets in May or June.
Jiiva's next Tamil film, a romantic family entertainer, will be directed by director Chandramohan, who has assisted director Karunakaran, known for his Telugu films like Ullasamga Utsahamga and Darling. While the makers continue to be tight-lipped about the project, reliable sources in the industry claim that the film is likely to have Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead.
Jiiva, who has completed work on Ravi K Chandra's Yaan, is likely to begin work on this project from the first week of May. The film, which will be produced by Jiiva's dad, will be shot mostly in Chennai. Kajal, who has already signed up for a Tamil film with Dhanush that is to be directed by Balaji Mohan and a Telugu film with Ramcharan, is likely to join the unit then. Sathyaraj, Suhasini and Soori are also likely to be a part of the film's star cast.
