Turkey's telecoms watchdog has confirmed that Twitter has been blocked by the courts. The Prime Minister's fight with Twitter has taken off since audio tapes were published through social media said to be Erdogan tructing his son on disposing large amounts of cash. Erdogan insists they are fake. Andrew Finkel, co-founder of P24, an intiative to promote independent journalistm in Turkey, talks to Al Jazeera about the ban.
