A baby from Colombia reported to weigh a staggering 21 kilos is receiving treatment from a charity. Doctors are hoping to save the life of an eight-month-old toddler who currently weighs the same as an average six-year-old. Santiago Mendoza, from Cesar State, Colombia, was transported to Bogota on Tuesday (18/1/2014) by the charity Gorditos del Corazón (Chubby Hearts), where he will receive treatment for a variety of ailments stemming from his extreme weight. The charity stepped in after Santiago’s mother, Eunice Fandiño, asked them for help.
