Timergara. Students take annual exam under umbrellas to protect their answer scripts from heavy rain in Bandai, Maidan Lower Dir. According to details Five years ago about one hundred schools were burnt down by the terrorists. Pakistan Army helped in reconstruction of 44 schools of the area but reaming 56 are yet to be reconstructed. 4 schools from Bandai were also included in the non-constructed school list. About 2700 pupils were forced to take matriculation exam under umbrellas. In heavy rains pupils uses nearby mosques for studies. This situation marks serious question to the ruling PTI government who claims education as its top priority. People demand a quick action from the authorities to take immediate action in this regard. About 2200 students are enrolled in Government high school Bandai and about 534 in Government primary school Bandai.
