Number 5 – Louisville, Kentucky. Right on the Ohio River, Louisville is thick with bluegrass. Besides checking pollen counts for grass, also check other allergens like trees and weeds before going outdoors.
Number 4 – McAllen, Texas. Located on the state’s southern tip, McAllen sees high temps and humidity already in the spring. Those conditions help spread pollen further.
Number 3 – Chattanooga, Tennessee. Allergens have gotten worse in this city famous for its steam-powered train. Prevent them from getting inside your home by turning on your air conditioning’s recirculate setting and leaving windows and doors closed.
