Every year, the ashram surroundings used to be crowded with devotees wanting to see bapu and celebrate holi with him. Holi celebrations were an elaborate affair every year at Jahangirpura Ashram in Surat with around three lakh followers attending it. Huge water pumps filled with colored water were used to be sprayed on devotees to mark the festival. The festival used to be celebrated in all its essence at the ashram.But this year authorities of the ashram think that the number of people will be less compared to the previous years, considering the arrest of Asaram.
