Jamaican government issues anti-gangster law

The Carribbean island of Jamaica has one of the highest murder rates in the world, blamed largely on the hundreds of gangs that fight for territory.

The crime rate, which was on the fall for a while, has surged once again, prompting the government to propose tough new laws to go after them. However, the law is stirring a lot of controversy.
