Thousands of people came here to the national stadium in Abuja in the hope of finding a job.
It was full to capacity.
Outside tens of thousands more waited to take a test for the chance of work in the immigration service.
Desperate job seekers stampeded crushing several people to death.

"They can arrange these things ... the world is computerised these days. We are in a global world. There is a better way of doing things."
Scores were injured and hospitals were unable to cope.
The sheer size of the crowds is a testament to the vast numbers of unemployed in Nigeria. More than one third of the country's under 25s are jobless.
