Sant Joan Despí (Spain), Mar 15 (EFE).- Barcelona's injured midfielders Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol were left off the squad that is to face Osasuna in a La Liga match on Sunday at Camp Nou.
Pique, who has a sore right ankle, is also one yellow card away from suspension. His absence against Osasuna will guarantee that he will be available, if healthy, for the classico against Real Madrid next Sunday.
Puyol, meanwhile, continues to struggle with joint overload in his right knee and will undergo treatment and specific exercise over the next ten days.
The squad for the Osasuna match consists of: Valdés, Pinto, Montoya, Fabregas, Xavi, Pedro, Iniesta, Alexis, Messi, Neymar, Mascherano, Bartra, Busquets, Song, Jordi Alba, Tello, Adriano and Dani Alves.
