I just redeemed 2 Free Night Certificates from the Chase Hyatt credit card at the Andaz Maui in Wailea. I really love the area and whenever I'm in Maui I make my way out there.
I initially looked at the Waldorf Astoria next door but it only has availability using points (or free night certificates) on the 27th – 29th of December.
It's selling for an incredible $999 and I was sure the agent would tell me no award availability for New Years Eve. But not at all – the reservation was done in 60 seconds, no problem at all to apply the certificates.
