Ahead of the polls External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid launched a 2-pronged attack at the Apex Court as well as the Election Commission while speaking at an event in London. Khurshid stated that judges can say anything about Parliamentarians about whether they will be able to contest elections or not. The External Affairs Minister also took on the EC, saying that rules were such that you can say nothing that wins you an election.
