Pedro Medrano Rojas, the senior coordinator for the UN cholera response in Haiti, is visiting European capitals this week to drum up financial support to deal with the cholera outbreak, which has killed more than 8,500 people since 2010. He tells Marc Perelman why Haiti needs a "Marshall plan" for water and sanitation to quell a cholera epidemic which poses a major threat to the Caribbean and Latin America.
