Dashin' Desperadoes review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Dashin' Desperadoes for the SEGA Genesis developed and published by Data East.

Will and Rick are a couple of lovestruck cowboys. The only problem is they’re in love with the same woman. And so, like any real men, they settle the situation by running really fast and throwing bombs at each other. Dashin' Desperadoes is a hybrid game perhaps best described as a platformer/racer. The objective is to platform through the 2D levels and get to the lovely Jenny before Rick does. But Rick’s a poor sport, so once in a while, he kidnaps Jenny in his surprisingly wide assortment of vehicles. Then it’s up to you to destroy the getaway vehicle with heavy explosives, despite the fact that Jenny is also in said vehicle. Tough love, I guess, and you’d expect nothing less from a pair of Dashin' Desperadoes. Interestingly, playing this game on a Japanese Genesis—or a Retron, as we found out—will change the name of the game to Rumble Kids. Because kids would definitely be chasing busty women across the planet. Dashin' Desperadoes offers single and local multiplayer play.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Dashin' Desperadoes for the SEGA Genesis and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
