Tensions in Crimea as unidentified armed men move into a Ukrainian naval post.

This comes as British prime Minster David Cameron tells parliament that Russia could face more sanctions if it does not move forward on a diplomatic solution.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH PRIME MINISTER DAVID CAMERON SAYING:

"At my instigation the Council tasked the European Commission to begin work on additional measures which could be taken against Russia if these talks don't get going or don't start producing results. These will include asset freezes and travel bans."

He called the upcoming March 16 referendum in Crimea over joining Russia "farcical" and says if Moscow recognizes the result it would face further consequences.

"Chancellor Merkel and I were clear that any attempt to legitimize an illegal referendum would require us to respond by ratcheting up the pressure further."
