A very special video produced by the International Judy Garland Club. It is based on hours of interviews with Club members, interspersed with newspaper clippings and archival photos. "Judy in London 1957" revisits her enormously successful Dominion Theatre engagement in London, six and a half years since her first visit to England in 1951. It features interviews with Lorna Smith, Brian Glanvill, Joan Coulson, Ken Sephton, Alec Bregonzi and others. Filmed and edited by the Club's digital archivist Andy Warrington, the narrative was written by editor of the Club journal, Gary Horrocks, and read by actor/musician Tony Hawks.
This documentary was the companion piece to the Winter 2011 issue 2 of "Judy Garland - A Celebration" magazine, which is published by the International Judy Garland Club.
