One grumpy cat recently became an international celebrity. The feline was brought to public attention after landing in the custody of New Hanover Sheriff's Office Animal Services employees.
Sure, kitties with sweet faces are adorable but there’s nothing quite like a cat with angry and bitter features. The grumpy cat may rule the internet now but a grumpier one recently became an international celebrity.

The feline was brought to public attention after landing in the custody of New Hanover Sheriff's Office Animal Services employees.
Staffers posted his unforgettable mug on Facebook with a caption that noted ‘This intense fellow is looking to find his forever family! We're not sure he's really thrilled with us at the moment because when he came to us he was really matted so we had to shave off his fur. Once his fur grows back, we think he'll be feeling more like the Persian royalty he knows he is!’
Intense is certainly a good word to describe him. His large, piercing eyes seem to depict sheer and utter hostility. His mouth curves downwards making it appear as though he frowning.
Officers pointed out however that his looks are deceiving, as his personality is said to be ‘loving’. The cat’s photos went viral soon after they were posted.
It didn’t take long for the angry appearing kitty to be adopted.
