we have to do better than maintaining a 'pro-black' sentiment

this video has been sitting around for some time, and i'm just deciding to post it. there are going to be people who agree, and some who don't. that is perfectly fine. all i am expecting is respect, no matter which side of the coin your views are on. if WE don't decide our fate as a people (regardless of where on the globe we are), we will always be at a loss. cultural and economic autonomy is imperative, if you are going to ensure your survival. what is happening now is that others are dictating to us what the culture (and the economy) should be.

i am of course, speaking from a pan-afrikanist perspective; there are many people who have experienced oppression and colonization which should DEFINITELY work towards autonomy as well. there are so many people i know doing that work, from varying cultures.
