An Okinawa earthquake struck with 6.7 magnitude in the East China Sea off the coast of the Japanese island. The trembler was centered 68 miles north-northwest of the city of Nago at 4:11 on Monday morning and was reported to hit at a depth of just under 70 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
