Sant Joan Despí (Spain), 4 Mar (EFE).- Barcelona defender Carles Puyol announced Tuesday that he will leave the Catalan club at the end of the season.
The 35 year old, who has a contract until 2016, has decided to end his time at Barça because of a series of physical problems. He will announce his final plans at the end of the campaign.
At a press conference organised at the last minute at Blaugranas' sports complex, the captain announced his decision to leave, bringing an end to a 19-year career at the club.
