In South Africa, Olympian Oscar Pistorius pleads not guilty to murder at the opening of his trial. Prosecutors allege he shot dead his girlfriend in a rage on February 14th 2013. In Nigeria's Borno State, at least 150 people have been killed in attacks by Islamists and government forces since Friday. Seven also died in an assault in Cameroon.
