From 1968 to 2003, Spanish horror actor Paul Naschy (real name Jacinto Molina) appeared in twelve movies featuring a nobleman named Waldemar Daninsky who is cursed with lycanthropy. Most of these movies were dubbed into English for international release, and found some success outside of Spain. They took inspiration from Lon Chaney Jr and his Wolf Man movies, though they did not tell one continuous story - rather most of the movies tend to be stand-alone tales which begin the Daninsky story anew.
