Animated and Live-Action Short filmmakers party ahead of Oscars

They all look like winners - the 10 filmmakers nominated for the Animated Short and Live-Action Short Oscars, at a pre-Oscar party in Beverly Hills.

Among them is director Lauren MacMullan of "Get a Horse!" the first theatrical Mickey Mouse short in almost two decades.

She admits though that she is no extrovert.

"The idea of sitting at a desk and drawing something, since animation takes a long time, is heaven to us. We are scared of bright lights."

Shuhei Morita, the director behind the animated short film, "Possessions," is keeping his head cool despite the attention.

"It is very big honor for me. But not much has changed other than that I have very little time for myself anymore."
