London-based designer Corrie Nielsen presented her very first collection on the Paris catwalk with a collection inspired by arts and literature.
Nielsen, born in the United States but trained in the United Kingdom, has showcased her collections in London for the last six seasons but chose to start with a clean slate in Paris for Autumn/Winter Pret a Porter.
Structured outlines and sculpted forms are the designer's trademark.
Capes with long trains, impressive high collars and voluminous hips and shoulders gave shape to a feminine silhouette, reminiscent of Elizabethan-style dresses.
