Oldest Piece of Earth Found: 4.4-Billion-Year-Old Crystal

Scientists have officially found the oldest known chunk of our planet - a zircon crystal dating at 4.4 billion years old. Professor John Valley commented that it could teach us more about the formation of the Earth.
