Baby panda Yuan Zai(圓仔) has been a sensation in Taiwan since her birth last year. A video journal that records her everyday life, "Growth Diary of Yuan Zai" was released yesterday (February, 24th).

In a separate event, some 1600 paper pandas were displayed at the Xinyi Public Assembly Hall in Taipei. Besides the pandas, the event also showcased paper artworks representing other endangered animals such as Formosan Clouded Leopard, Formosan Black Bear and green sea turtle.

The artworks were displayed at various places in Taipei, including Dajia Riverbank park, Ketagalan Boulevard, Xinyi Public Assembly Hall and the National theatres between Feb 21 to 25.
