Rolex Fastnet Race 2013 : The 7 Imoca 60s are getting ready for the legendary race. Bernard Stamm (Cheminée Poujoulat), Vinecent Riou and Jean Lecam (PRB), Alex Thomson (Hugo Boss), Marc Guillemot (Safran), Jorg Riechers (Mare), François Gabart and Michel Desjoyeaux (Macif) Jeremie Beyou and Christopher Pratt (Maitre Coq), Jorg Riechers and Seb Audigane (Mare) will take the start of the Fastnet Race August 11th 2013. Founded in 1991 and recognised by ISAF since 1998, IMOCA is the class association, which takes care of 60-foot Open monohulls (18.28 metres). With more than thirty skippers signed up, its championship includes two round the world races (Vendée Globe which is singlehanded and Barcelona World Race which is doublehanded), a round Europe race and several ocean races.
