Time to come out of homes against terrorism, MQM urges people to attend 'Solidarity Rally'

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has appealed that people participate in large numbers in the ‘Solidarity Rally’ at Shahra-e-Quaideen on Sunday.
Talking to media here on Saturday, Dr Kahlid Maqbool, flanked by Aamir Khan, Nasreen Jalil, Aadil Siddiqui and other MQM leaders, said MQM would take out the rally to express solidarity with law enforcement agencies.
The MQM leader said it was not the time to sit in homes but to come out against terrorism.
Khalid Maqbool further said culture of lunacy was encouraged in Pakistan in the 80s, however, it has become a deep-rooted tree (very dangerous) now, adding it was very dangerous for all of us.
At least 7000 army officers and personnel had been martyred in the terrorism in Pakistan, he said.
The MQM leader was optimistic that Karachiites will stand against terrorism on Sunday.
MQM had announced to take out a rally to express solidarity with the Pakistan’s armed forces on Sunday.
Addressing party workers via telephone, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that the army and the people were united against terrorism.
He urged the people to attend the rally in large numbers to make it a historic event and prove that they stood by the country’s armed force and other law enforcement agencies fighting the Taliban militants.
