Somalia's presidential palace was attacked on Friday, with two car bombs breaking through the heavily fortified compound. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was unharmed but two government officials were killed along with the nine assailants. The Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab militants claimed responsibility. The group was ousted from the capital back in 2011 but attacks in the city have recently been on the increase again.
