Two years after a newspaper report claimed that government was spooked by the movement of two Army units near the capital, a key general has spilled the beans on how the government was spooked. Lt Gen AK Choudhary, who was director general of military operations in January 2012, has confirmed that the government was worried over the issue. Lt Gen AK Choudhary said that he was summoned by the then Defence secretary and asked to send troops back.
