This is Pussy Riot's new video… the first one since two members were freed from jail.
In true Pussy Riot fashion, brightly colored ski masks hide the women's faces as they protest while rocking out. This time, in Sochi.
They're criticizing Russian President Vladimir Putin for hosting the Olympics as a - quote - public relations stunt. Saying it's his attempt to paper over the country's human rights violations.
The rockers spoke during a news conference Thursday:
(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) PUSSY RIOT MEMBER, NADEZHDA TOLOKONNIKOVA, SAYING:
"The Olympics have turned a police state into a complete police state; an authoritarian regime into a totalitarian regime with preventative arrests. My relationship to the Olympics is that the Olympics create a space for the complete destruction of human rights in Russia. Here we are banned from speaking out…"
The girls are beaten by Cossacks in the video - patrolmen who are reinforcing security around the Games.
