A powerful speech delivered on the stage of Dublin’s Abbey Theatre by Irish LGBT rights campaigner Panti Bliss reignited the debate around homophobia in Ireland. Panti’s oration made international news and will undoubtedly play an important role in Ireland’s 2015 referendum on same-sex marriage.
