An original member of the band "Devo," best known for their 1980 hit song "Whip It," has died. Bob Casale was a guitarist with the group. His brother Gerald Casale, also a founding member, made the announcement on the band's website, ClubDevo.com saying that "His sudden death from conditions that lead to heart failure came as a total shock to us all."
Devo formed in 1972, but it was until their hit "Whip It" - and the accompanying music video - that the group rocketed to international fame.
Casale was 61.
