Today on Feb. 13, Examiner.com is excited to share highlights from the Custo Barcelona presentation. Electronic music and bright magenta laser lights opened the show with a colorful 70's robotic theme; the collection was a refreshing splash of color. It was so lively to see this amount of color and patterns in a fall collection. The audience was dancing and enjoying the futuristic colorful collection as well as the overall all look of the models. The models had cool short bangs and straight sleek hair with purple sunglasses.
The vibrant colors such as magenta and fuchsia were paired up with neutral winter classics that balanced the looks perfectly. One of the looks was a two tone menswear suit in light pebble and camel with a turtleneck shirt. The simple addition of adding two neutral colors in a suit made it extremely interesting. This piece introduced some half animal print half beige coats.
It transitioned into tribal prints and heavy knot plaid shrugs that accompanied dresses and mid long skirts. This full house was as fun as a party and everyone was ready to grab some colorful pieces to brighten their wardrobe right away!
Jackie Cruz from "Orange is the New Black," came to the Mercedes-Benz Greenroom backstage at Lincoln Center to do a quick outfit change due to wardrobe malfunction before the Custo Barcelona show. Jackie used the greenroom to quickly paint her toes and touch up her make-up before heading into the show.
