The Tents Of Fashion Week Were Cold This Season For Fall 2014

It is known as one of the most glamorous times of the year, Fashion Week in New York City. But the snow, cold weather, and various locations certainly damepened the spirit of most. While snow was ploughed at The Lincoln Center, the fashion crowd dodged puddles and carried umbrellas in one the most brutal weeks of the year. Sure this winter has been rough, but now the fashion corwd had to also deal with the problems of transit.

Some of the biggest deisngers opted to show off site, from downtown to Brooklyn. The convenience of Fashion Week being under one roof is no more. It seems the future of Fashion Week has no intention of looking back as The Lincoln Center was the lcoation for only some of the designers.

While the guest lists also got smaller, some were impressed that the week may be returning to its exclusive roots. Regardless, the season was icy, the reception cold and the travel between shows was anything but convenient. But the shows did go on, and fashionistas get to enjoy some beautiful fashion looking forward to fall 2014.
