2014-02-14 49

A 10-year-old Michigan boy named Colin told his mother he didn't want a birthday party because he didn't have any friends to invite. So his mother created the Facebook page "Happy Birthday Colin." The page has attracted more than 1.6 million likes.

Colin's 11th birthday is coming on March 9. Colin was diagnosed with disorder similar to autism and thought no one liked him. His mother created the Facebook page for him as a surprise to show how many people do like him.

Colin's mother planned to have 50 responses from friends and family, but the page is racking up likes by the thousands, as people from all over the world wish Colin a happy birthday.
